FAQs

Are Crest Whitestrips Safe?

Crest Whitestrips are proven to be safe, as research demonstrated through extensive clinical trials. Whitestrips use the same enamel-safe ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, which many dentists use in their offices. In fact, Crest Whitestrips Whitening+ Therapy also strengthen your enamel with a soothing serum.

Crest® Whitestrips can be an affordable way to get the same results you might get from a more expensive treatment. While Crest Whitestrips may initially cause gum discomfort or tooth sensitivity due to whitening, these effects are temporary and have no long-term adverse effects. If you’re experiencing sensitive teeth due to whitening, try waiting a few days before your next treatment.

14 Strips = 7 Treatments = 7 Pouches

10 Strips = 5 Treatments = 5 Pouches

6 Strips = 3 Treatments = 3 Pouches

Can I Use Crest 3D Whitestrips if I Have Dental Work?

Crest 3D Whitestrips will not harm dental work including veneers, caps, fillings, partials, gold, composite bonding, laminates or any other restorations. However, they will also not whiten these types of dental work. The Whitestrips only work to whiten natural teeth, so if you have any dental work on any front teeth, you may see noticeable color differences between the whiter teeth and dental work when using this product.

Do not use if you have dental braces, and we recommend speaking to your dentist before using Crest 3D Whitestrips if you wear a retainer or have had a root canal. If you need any dental work, have dental work or are experiencing any staining from medication, we advise consulting your dentist to determine if using Whitestrips is appropriate.

Are There Any Side Effects of using Crest 3D Whitestrips?

You may experience tooth sensitivity or gum irritation after using Crest 3D Whitestrips. Make sure to use the product as directed to limit chances of these occurring.

Why should I use Crest 3D White Whitestrips? Why isn’t a whitening toothpaste enough?

Because you shouldn’t settle for a smile that’s just “white enough.” While Whitestrips and most whitening toothpastes remove surface-level stains, Crest Whitestrips remove set-in stains below the enamel surface for a visibly whiter smile.
